Matthew 2: 1 & 3 & 8 23 And
he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth:
that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called
a Nazarene. (5)
Haggai 2: 23 In
that day,
saith the LORD of hosts, will I take thee, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the Son of Shealtiel, saith the LORD, and will make thee as a signet: for I have chosen thee,
saith the LORD of hosts.
(5)
2 & 5 & 8
Matthew 2: 17 Then
was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the
prophet, saying,
(8)
18 In Rama
was there a voice heard, lamentation, and weeping, and great
mourning, Rachel
weeping for her children, and would not be comforted, because they are
not.
Haggai 2: 17 I
smote you with blasting and with mildew and with hail in all the labours of your hands; yet ye turned not to Me,
saith the LORD.
(8)
18 Consider now from this day and
upward, from the four and
twentieth day of
the ninth month, even from the day
that the foundation of the LORD's
temple was laid, consider it.
3 & 6 & 9
Matthew 2: 8 And
he sent them to Bethlehem, and
said, Go and search diligently for the young child; and when ye have found Him,
bring me word again, that I may come and worship Him also. (8)
9 When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the
star, which they saw in the East,
went before them, till it came and stood over where the Young Child was.
Haggai 2: 8 The silver is mine, and the gold is mine, saith the LORD
of hosts.
(8)
9 The Glory of
this Latter House(New Jerusalem) shall be greater
than of the former, saith the LORD of
hosts: and in this place will I give
Peace, saith the LORD of
hosts.
3 & 6 & 9
Matthew 2: 21 And
he arose, and took the Young Child and His mother, and came into the land of Israel. (3)
22 But when he heard that Archelaus did
reign in Judaea in
the room of his father Herod, he was afraid to go thither: notwithstanding, being warned
of GOD in a dream, he turned aside into the parts of Galilee:
Haggai 2: 21 Speak to Zerubbabel,
governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;
(3)
22 And I will
overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I
will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and
those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.
1 & 4 & 7
Matthew 2: 12 And
being warned of GOD in a dream that they should not return to Herod,
they departed into their own country another way. (3)
13 And when they were departed, behold, the angel of the Lord appeareth to Joseph in a dream, saying, Arise, and
take the Young Child and His mother, and flee into Egypt, and be thou there until I bring thee word: for Herod will seek the Young
Child to destroy Him.
14 When he arose, he took the Young Child and His
mother by night, and departed into Egypt:
15 And was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called My Son.
16 Then Herod,
when he saw that he was mocked of the wise men, was exceeding wroth, and sent
forth, and slew all the children that were in Bethlehem, and
in all the coasts thereof, from two
years old and under, according to the time which he had diligently
enquired of the wise men.
Haggai 2: 12 If one bear holy flesh in the skirt of his garment, and
with his skirt do touch bread, or pottage, or wine, or oil, or any meat, shall it be holy? And the
priests answered and said, No.
(3)
13 Then said Haggai, If
one that is unclean by a dead body
touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.
14 Then answered Haggai, and
said, So is this people, and so is this nation before Me, saith the LORD; and
so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean.
15 And now, I pray you, consider from this day and
upward, from before a stone was laid upon a stone in the temple of the LORD:
16 Since those days
were, when one came to an heap of twenty
measures, there were but ten: when
one came to the pressfat for to draw out fifty vessels
out of the press, there were but twenty.
1 & 4 & 7
Matthew 2: 3 When
Herod the king had heard these things, he was troubled,
and all Jerusalem with him.
(3)
4 And when he had gathered all the chief priests and scribes of the
people together, he demanded of them where Christ
should be born.
6 And thou Bethlehem, in
the land of Juda, art
not the least among the princes of Juda: for
out of thee shall come a Governor,
that shall rule My people Israel.
7 Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired of them
diligently what time the star appeared.
Haggai 2: 3 Who is left among you that saw this house in her first glory?
and how do ye see it now? is it not in your eyes in comparison of it as nothing? (3)
4 Yet now be strong, O Zerubbabel,
saith the LORD; and be strong, O Joshua, Son of Josedech, the high priest; and be strong, all ye people of the land, saith the LORD, and work: for I am with you, saith the LORD of hosts:
5 According to the word that I covenanted with you when ye came out of Egypt, so My Spirit
remaineth among you: fear ye not.
6 For thus saith the LORD of
hosts; Yet once, it is a little while, and I
will shake the Heavens(second
coming of Jesus), and the Earth, and
the Sea, and
the Dry Land;
7 And I will
shake all nations, and the desire
of all nations shall come: and I
will fill this House(New Jerusalem) with Glory,
saith the LORD of hosts.
1 & 4 & 7
Matthew 2: 19 But
when Herod was dead, behold, an angel of the Lord appeareth in a dream to Joseph in

Child and His mother, and go
into the land of Israel: for
they are dead which sought the young
child's life.
Haggai 2: 19 Is the seed yet in the barn? yea, as yet the vine, and the fig tree, and the pomegranate, and the olive tree, hath not brought forth: from this day will I bless you.
(1)
20 And again the Word of
the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and
twentieth day of
the month, saying,
2 & 5 & 8
Matthew 2: 10 When
they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding Great Joy. (1)

treasures, they presented unto Him
gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

hosts; Ask now the priests concerning the law, saying,
2 & 5 & 8
Matthew 2: 1 Now
when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in
the days of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to Jerusalem, (1)
2 Saying, Where is He
that is born King of
the Jews? for
we have seen His Star in
the East, and
are come to worship Him.
Haggai 2: 1 In
the seventh
month, in
the one and twentieth day of the
month, came
the word of the LORD by the prophet Haggai,
saying,
2 Speak now to Zerubbabel the
Son of Shealtiel, governor of Judah, and
to Joshua the Son of Josedech, the
high priest, and to the residue of the people, saying,
2 & 5 & 8
