Judges 2
23;
23 The Lord had allowed those nations to remain; he did not drive them out at once by giving them into the hands of Joshua. (5)

                                                                                                                                    258
17 Yet they would not listen to their judges but prostituted themselves to other gods and worshiped them. They quickly turned from the ways of their ancestors, who had been obedient to the Lord’s commands. (8)
18 Whenever the Lord raised up a judge for them, He was with the judge and saved them out of the hands of their enemies as long as the judge lived; for the Lord relented because of their groaning under those who oppressed and afflicted them.
                                                                                                                                    369
8 Joshua son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died at the age of a hundred and ten.  (8)
And they buried him in the land of his inheritance, at Timnath Heres in the hill country of Ephraim, north of Mount Gaash.
                                                                                                                                    369
21 I will no longer drive out before them any of the nations Joshua left when he died. (3)
22 I will use them to test Israel and see whether they will keep the Way of the Lord and Walk in it as their ancestors did.”
                                                                                                                                     147
12 They forsook the Lord, the God of their ancestors, who had brought them out of Egypt. They followed and worshiped various gods of the peoples around them. They aroused the Lord’s anger (3)
13 because they forsook Him and served Baal and the Ashtoreths.
14 In His anger against Israel the Lord gave them into the hands of raiders who plundered them. He sold them into the hands of their enemies all around, whom they were no longer able to resist.
15 Whenever Israel went out to fight, the hand of the Lord was against them to defeat them, just as He had sworn to them. They were in great distress.
16 Then the Lord raised up judges, who saved them out of the hands of these raiders.
                                                                                                                                     147
3 And I have also said, ‘I will not drive them out before you; they will become traps for you, and their gods will become snares to you.’” (3)
When the angel of the Lord had spoken these things to all the Israelites, the people wept aloud, and they called that place Bokim. There they offered sacrifices to the Lord.
Disobedience and Defeat
After Joshua had dismissed the Israelites, they went to take possession of the land, each to their own inheritance.
7 The people served the Lord throughout the lifetime of Joshua and of the elders who outlived him and who had seen all the great things the Lord had done for Israel.
                                                                                                                                     147
19 But when the judge died, the people returned to ways even more corrupt than those of their ancestors, following other gods and serving and worshiping them. They refused to give up their evil practices and stubborn ways. (1)
20 Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel and said, Because this nation has violated the covenant I ordained for their ancestors and has not listened to Me,
                                                                                                                                    258
10 After that whole generation had been gathered to their ancestors, another generation grew up who knew neither the Lord nor what He had done for Israel. (1)
11 Then the Israelites did evil in the eyes of the Lord and served the Baals.
                                                                                                                                    258
The Angel of the Lord at Bokim
The angel of the Lord went up from Gilgal to Bokim and said, “I brought you up out of Egypt and led you into the land I swore to give to your ancestors. I said, I will never break My Covenant with you, (1)
and you shall not make a covenant with the people of this land, but you shall break down their altars.Yet you have disobeyed Me. Why have you done this?
                                                                                                                                    258

25 To the only God our Savior be Glory, Majesty, Power and Authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (7)
A Call to Persevere
17 But, dear friends, remember what the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ foretold. (8)
18 They said to you, “In the last times there will be scoffers who will follow their own ungodly desires.”
19 These are the people who divide you, who follow mere natural instincts and do not have the Spirit.
8 In the very same way, on the strength of their dreams these ungodly people pollute their own bodies, reject authority and heap abuse on celestial beings. (8)
But even the archangel Michael, when He was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not Himself dare to condemn him for slander but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
10 Yet these people slander whatever they do not understand, and the very things they do understand by instinct—as irrational animals do—will destroy them.
23 save others by snatching them from the fire; to others show mercy, mixed with fear—hating even the clothing stained by corrupted flesh. (5)
Doxology
24 To Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before His Glorious presence without fault and with great joy—
14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about them: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of His Holy Ones (5)
15 to judge everyone, and to convict all of them of all the ungodly acts they have committed in their ungodliness, and of all the defiant words ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”
16 These people are grumblers and faultfinders; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others for their own advantage.
5 Though you already know all this, I want to remind you that the Lord at one time delivered His people out of Egypt, but later destroyed those who did not believe. (5)
And the angels who did not keep their positions of authority but abandoned their proper dwelling—these He has kept in darkness, bound with everlasting chains for judgment on the great Day.
In a similar way, Sodom and Gomorrah and the surrounding towns gave themselves up to sexual immorality and perversion. They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire!!!
20 But you, dear friends, by building yourselves up in your most holy faith and praying in the Holy Spirit, (2)
21 keep yourselves in God’s love as you wait for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to bring you to Eternal life!!! (3)
22 Be merciful to those who doubt;
11 Woe to them! They have taken the way of Cain; they have rushed for profit into Balaam’s error; they have been destroyed in Korah’s rebellion. (2)
12 These people are blemishes at your love feasts, eating with you without the slightest qualm—shepherds who feed only themselves. They are clouds without rain, blown along by the wind; autumn trees, without fruit and uprooted—twice dead.
13 They are wild waves of the sea, foaming up their shame; wandering stars, for whom blackest darkness has been reserved forever.
Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and a brother of James,
To those who have been called, who are loved in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ:
2 Mercy, peace and love be yours in abundance.
The Sin and Doom of Ungodly People
Dear friends, although I was very eager to write to you about the salvation we share, I felt compelled to write and urge you to contend for the faith that was once for all entrusted to God’s holy people.

For certain individuals whose condemnation was written about long ago have secretly slipped in among you. They are ungodly people, who pervert the Grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny Jesus Christ our only Sovereign and Lord. Amen!

1 day of Rest, is very important for the human body:
Genesis 2: 2 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the Seventh day God ended His work which He had made; and He rested on the Seventh day from all His work which He had made.
And God blessed the Seventh day!!! (7)(Sabbath) and Sanctified it: because that in it He had rested from all His work which God created and made.
4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that the Lord God made the earth and the heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
7 And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. 1 & 3 & 8
Exodus 20: 8 "Remember the Sabbath day by keeping it Holy. 9 Six days you shall labor and do all your work, 10 but the seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your GOD. On it you shall not do any work, neither you, nor your son or your doughter, nor your male or female servant, nor your animals, nor any foreigner residing in your towns. 11 For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but He rested on the seventh day. Therefore the LORD blessed the Sabbath day and made it Holy.
The FOURTH, of the TEN COMMANDMENTS of GOD! 47 & 4U!

MICHAEL W. SMITH LYRICS
"I See You"

Lord, You're leading me
With a cloud by day
And then in the night
The glow of a burning flame

And everywhere I go I see you
Everywhere I go I see you

And You take my hand
And You wash it clean
I know the promised land
Is light years ahead of me

And everywhere I go I see you
Everywhere I go I see you

And the eagle flies
And the rivers run
I look through the night
I can see the risin' sun

And everywhere I go I see you
Everywhere I go I see you

Well, the grass will die
And the flowers fall
But Your Word's alive
Will be after all

And everywhere I go I see you
Everywhere I go I see you
