those who hear and obey HIS voice, those who will, if need be, speak unpalatable truths, those who do not fear to reprove popular sins. The reason why He does not oftener choose men of learning and high position to lead out in reform movements is that they trust to their creeds, theories, and theological systems, and feel no need to be taught of GOD. Only those who have a personal connection with the Source of wisdom are able to understand or explain the Scriptures. Men who have little of the learning of the schools are sometimes called to declare the truth, not because they are unlearned, but because they are not too self-sufficient to be taught of GOD. They learn in the school of CHRIST, and their humility and obedience make them great. In committing to them a knowledge of HIS truth, GOD confers upon them an honor, in comparison with which earthly honor and human greatness sink into insignificance. Monday January 1, 2018; S63: The majority of Adventists rejected the truths concerning the sanctuary and the law of GOD, and many also renounced their faith in the Advent movement and adopted unsound and conflicting views of the prophecies which applied to that work. Some were led into the error of repeatedly fixing upon a definite time for the coming of CHRIST. The Light which was now shining on the subject of the Sanctuary should have shown them that no prophetic period extends to the Second Advent; that the exact time of this Advent is not foretold. But, turning from the Light, they continued to set time after time for the LORD to come, and as often they were disappointed.

When the Thessalonian church received erroneous views concerning the Coming of CHRIST, the apostle Paul counseled them to test their hopes and anticipations carefully by the Word of GOD. He cited them to prophecies revealing the events to take place before CHRIST should come, and showed that they had no ground to expect HIM in their day. "Let no man deceive you by any means" (2 Thessalonians 2:3’Paus’s Sunday & his people; 538 – 1798 no Bible), are HIS Words of warning. Should they indulge expectations that were not sanctioned by the Scriptures, they would be led to

a mistaken course of action; disappointment would expose them to the derision of unbelievers, and they would be in danger of yielding to discouragement and would be tempted to doubt the truths essential for their Salvation. The apostle's admonition to the Thessalonians contains an important lesson for those who live in the last days. Many Adventists have felt that unless they could fix their faith upon a definite time for the LORD's coming, they could not be zealous and diligent in the work of preparation. But as their hopes are again and again excited, only to be destroyed, their faith receives such a shock that it becomes well-nigh impossible for them to be impressed by the great truths of prophecy. Tuesday January 2, 2018; S64: The preaching of a definite time for the Judgment, in the giving of the first message, was ordered by GOD. The computation of the prophetic periods on which that message was based, placing the close of the 2300 days in the autumn of 1844, stands without impeachment. The repeated efforts to find new dates for the beginning and close of the prophetic periods, and the unsound reasoning necessary to sustain these positions, not only lead minds away from the present truth, but throw contempt upon all efforts to explain the prophecies. The more frequently a definite time is set for the Second Advent, and the more widely it is taught, the better it suits the purposes of Satan. After the time has passed, he excites ridicule and contempt of its advocates, and thus casts reproach upon the Great Advent movement of 1843 and 1844. Those who persist in this error will at last fix upon a date too far in the future for the Coming of CHRIST. Thus they will be led to rest in a false security, and many will not be undeceived until it is too late. GOD led His people in the advent movement, even as He led the children of Israel from Egypt. In the great disappointment their faith was tested as was that of the Hebrews at the Red Sea. Had they still trusted to the guiding hand that had been with them in

their past experience, they would have seen the Salvation of GOD. If all who had labored unitedly in the work in 1844, had received the Third Angel’s message(E.G.White & 4th Angel’s message(V.T.Houteff, to make complete the 3rd Angels Messages in Rev18:1 And after these things I(John) saw another Angel(4th) come down from heaven, having great power; and the Earth was lightened with his glory.);  and proclaimed it in the power of the Holy Spirit, the LORD would have  wrought mightily with their(E.G.White & V.T.Houteff) efforts. A flood of light would have been shed upon the World. Years ago the inhabitans of the Earthwould have been warned, the closing work completed, and HRIST would have come fort the Redemption of HIS people. (Without this knowledge will not be able to stay in Heaven, because the LORD JESUS gives this Lesson in order to prepare to become a Heavenly Population. Just like someone, who will occupy the new House. So the man must know the circumstances of the House, so that when the person moves to a new house no stranger. The Kingdom of Heaven is the same, we must know carefully, before occupying the New House of the Kingdom of Heaven. So it's impossible to be FOREIGN, stay at that HOUSE)

It was not the will of GOD that Israel should wander Forty Years(from Adam until Second Coming of CHRIST) in the wilderness(World); He desired to lead them directly to the land of Canaan(New Jerusalem) and Establish them there, a Holy, happy people. But "they could not enter in(Heaven) because of unbelief." (Hebrews 3:19So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief)  ”Because of their backsliding and apostasy they perished in the desert(Hell), and others were raised up to enter the Promised Land(New Jerusalem in Heaven go to New Earth after people in Heaven 1000 years). In like manner, it was not the will of GOD that the coming of CHRIST should be so long delayed and HIS people should remain so many years in this world of sin and sorrow. But unbelief separated them from GOD. As they refused to do the work which He had appointed them, others were raised up to proclaim the message. In mercy to the world, JESUS delays HIS coming, that sinners may have an opportunity to hear the warning and find in Him a shelter before the wrath of GOD shall be poured out. CHAPTER 25

GOD’s Law Immutable

Thursday November 30, 2017; S31: Friday December 1, 2017; S32: The temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in His temple the ark of His testament." Revelation 11:19. The ark of God's testament is in the holy of holies, the second apartment of the sanctuary. In the ministration of the earthly tabernacle, which served "unto the example and shadow of heavenly things," this apartment was opened only upon the great Day of Atonement for the cleansing of the sanctuary. Therefore the announcement that the temple of God was opened in heaven and the ark of His testament was seen points to the opening of the most holy place of the heavenly sanctuary in 1844 as Christ entered there to perform the closing work of the atonement. Those who by faith followed their great High Priest as He entered upon His ministry in the most holy place, beheld the ark of His testament. As they had studied the subject of the sanctuary they had come to understand the Saviour's change of ministration, and they saw that He was now officiating before the ark of God, pleading His blood in behalf of sinners.

The ark in the tabernacle on earth contained the two tables of stone, upon which were inscribed the precepts of the law of God. The ark was merely a receptacle for the tables of the law, and the presence of these divine precepts gave to it its value and sacredness. When the temple of God was opened in heaven, the ark of His testament was seen.

Sabbath December 2, 2017; S33: The law of GOD in the sanctuary in heaven is the great original, of which the precepts inscribed upon the tables of stone and recorded by Moses in the Pentateuch were an unerring transcript. Those who arrived at an understanding of this important point were thus led to see the sacred, unchanging character of the divine law. They saw, as never before, the force of the Saviour's words: "Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law." Matthew 5:18. The law of God, being a revelation of His will, a transcript of His character, must forever endure, "as a faithful witness in heaven." Not one command has been annulled; not a jot or tittle has been changed. Says the psalmist: "Forever, O Lord, Thy word is settled in heaven." "All His commandments are sure. They stand fast for ever and ever." Psalms 119:89; 111:7, 8.

In the very bosom of the Decalogue is the fourth commandment, as it was first proclaimed: "Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labor, and do all thy work: but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it." Sunday December 3, 2017; S34: The Spirit of GODd impressed the hearts of those students of His word. The conviction was urged upon them that they had ignorantly transgressed this precept by disregarding the Creator's rest day. They began to examine the reasons for observing the first day of the week instead of the day which GOD had sanctified. They could find no evidence in the

Scriptures that the Fourth Commandment had been abolished, or that the Sabbath had been changed; the blessing which first hallowed the seventh day had never been removed. They had been honestly seeking to know and to do GOD's will; now, as they saw themselves transgressors of His law, sorrow filled their hearts, and they manifested their loyalty to GOD by Keeping His Sabbath Holy.

Many and earnest were the efforts made to overthrow their faith. None could fail to see that if the earthly sanctuary was a figure or pattern of the heavenly, the law deposited in the ark on earth was an exact transcript of the law in the ark in heaven; and that an acceptance of the truth concerning the heavenly sanctuary involved an acknowledgment of the claims of GOD's law and the obligation of the Sabbath of the Fourth Commandment. Here was the secret of the bitter and determined opposition to the harmonious exposition of the Scriptures that revealed the ministration of Christ in the heavenly sanctuary. Men sought to close the door which GOD had opened, and to open the door which He had closed. But "He that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth," had declared: "Behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it." Revelation 3:7, 8. Christ had opened the door, or ministration, of the most holy place, light was shining from that open door of the Sanctuary in heaven, and the Fourth Commandment was shown to be included in the law which is there enshrined; what GOD had established, no man could overthrow. (3) 4 sebab itu, hai pegunungan Israel! dengarlah olehmu Firman TUHAN HUA, demikianlah Firman TUHAN HUA kepada segala gunung dan kepada segala bukit dan kepada segala sungai dan lembah dan kepada segala timbunan batu kerobohan dan kepada segala negeri yang ketinggalan, yang sudah jadi suatu rampasan dan sindiran kepada sisa segala bangsa yang keliling. 5 Sebab itu demikianlah Firman TUHAN HUA: Masakan tiada dengan api Gairah-KU AKU(YESUS) sudah memutuskan hukum atas segala bangsa yang lagi tinggal itu dan atas Edompun, yang sudah memberikan tanah-KU kepada dirinya akan milik pusaka dengan segala kesukaan hatinya dan dengan kehangatan nafsunya, seperti kalau ia itu sudah terbuang akan dijarahi. 6 Sebab itu bernubuatlah engkau akan hal tanah Israel dan katakanlah kepada segala gunung dan bukit dan sungai dan lembah: Demikianlah Firman TUHAN HUA: Bahwa dengan Gairah-KU dan dengan kehangatan Murka-KU sudah AKU(/YESUS) berfirman, sebab kamu sudah menanggung kecelaan bangsa-bangsa kafir! 7 Sebab itu, demikianlah Firman TUHAN HUA: Bahwa Aku(YESUS) sudah bersumpah, bahwa sesungguhnya segala bangsa kafir yang kelilingmu itu akan menanggung kecelaannya sendiri! 147 37 Demikianlah FIRMAN TUHAN HUA: Maka dalam itu juga akan KU-luluskan kehendak bangsa Israel, bahwa Aku(YESUS) memperbanyakkan mereka itu kelak, sehingga bilangan manusia seperti kambing banyaknya! (8) 36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I(JESUS) the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I(JESUS)  the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it. 369 26 A new heart also will I(JESUS) give you, and a new spirit will I(JESUS) put within you: and I(JESUS) will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I(JESUS) will give you an heart of flesh. (8) 27 And I will put MY Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in MY Statutes, and ye shall keep MY Judgments, and do them. 369 17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before ME as the uncleanness of a removed woman. (8) 18 Wherefore I(JESUS) poured MY Fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it: 369 8 But ye, O mountains of Israel, ye shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come. (8) 9 For, behold, I(JESUS) am for you, and I will turn unto you, and ye shall be tilled and sown: 369 30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that ye shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen. (3) 31 Then shall ye remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall lothe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations. 32 Not for your sakes do I(JESUS) this, saith the LORD GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel. 33 Thus saith the LORD GOD; In the day that I(JESUS) shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I(JESUS) will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be builded. 34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by. 147 21 But I(JESUS) had pity for Mine Holy Name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, whither they went. (3) 22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the LORD GOD; I(JESUS) do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for Mine Holy Name's sake, which ye have profaned among the heathen, whither ye went. 23 And I(JESUS) will sanctify MY Great Name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I(JESUS) am the LORD, saith the LORD GOD, when I(JESUS) shall be sanctified in you before their eyes. 24 For I(JESUS) will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land. 25 Then will I(JESUS) sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you. 147 12 Yea, I(JESUS) will cause men to walk upon you, even MY people Israel; and they shall possess thee, and thou shalt be their inheritance, and thou shalt no more henceforth bereave them of men. (3) 13 Thus saith the LORD GOD; Because they say unto you, Thou land devourest up men, and hast bereaved thy nations; 14 Therefore thou shalt devour men no more, neither bereave thy nations any more, saith the LORD GOD. 15 Neither will I(JESUS) cause men to hear in thee the shame of the heathen any more, neither shalt thou bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shalt thou cause thy nations to fall any more, saith the LORD GOD. 16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, 147 3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that ye might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and ye are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an infamy of the people: (3) 4 Therefore, ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD GOD; Thus saith the LORd GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about; 5 Therefore thus saith the LORD GOD; Surely in the Fire of MY Jealousy have I(JESUS) spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey. 6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus saith the LORD GOD; Behold, I have spoken in MY Jealousy and in MY Fury, because ye have borne the shame of the heathen: 7 Therefore thus saith the LORD GOD; I(JESUS) have lifted up Mine Hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame. 147 37 Thus saith the LORD GOD; I(JESUS) will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I(JESUS) will increase them with men like a flock. 147 28 And ye shall dwell in the land that I(JESUS) gave to your fathers; and ye shall be MY people, and I(JESUS) will be your GOD. 29 I(JESUS) will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I(JESUS) will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you. 258 19 And I(JESUS) scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I(JESUS) Judged them. 20 And when they entered unto the heathen, whither they went, they profaned MY Holy Name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD(JESUS), and are gone forth out of his land. 258 10 And I(JESUS) will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be builded: 11 And I(JESUS) will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and ye shall know that I am the LORD. 258

1 Also, thou SON of Man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, Ye mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:

2 Thus saith the LORD GOD; Because the enemy hath said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:
