A New Covenant (Monday January 16, 2017)
Hebrews 8: 3 & 6 & 9 13 In that He saith,
A New Covenant, He hath made the First
Old. Now that which Decayeth and Waxeth Old is ready to Vanish
Away. (4)
1 & 4 & 7
Hebrews 8: 9
Not according to the Covenant
that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand
to lead them out of the land of Egypt;
because they continued not in My Covenant,
and I regarded them Not,
saith the LORD.
(9)
10 For this is the Covenant
that I will make with the House
of Israel After
those days(New Covenant), saith the LORD;
I will put My Laws
into their Mind,
and write them in their Hearts:
and I will be to them a GOD,
and they shall be to Me a People:
11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the LORD:
for all shall know Me, from the least to the
greatest.
Leviticus 17: 9
And bringeth it not unto the door of the Tabernacle
of the Congregation, to Offer
it unto the LORD;
even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
(9)
10 And whatsoever man there be of the House of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you,
that Eateth
any manner of Blood; I will even set My Face against that soul that Eateth Blood, and will cut him
off from among his people.
11 For the Life
of the Flesh is in the Blood:
and I
have given it to you upon the Altar
to make an Atonement for your Souls:
for it is the Blood that maketh an Atonement for the Soul.
2 & 5 & 8
Hebrews 8: 6
But now hath He obtained a more Excellent
ministry, by how much also He is the Mediator of a better Covenant,
which was Established
upon better Promises. (6)
7 For if that First Covenant
had been Faultless, then should No Place
have been sought for the Second. (No Eternal Life)
8 For finding fault with them, He
saith, Behold, the Days
Come, saith the LORD, when I will make a New Covenant with the House of Israel and with the House of Judah:
Leviticus 17: 15
And every soul that eateth that which Died
of itself, or that which was torn with Beasts,
whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both Wash his
clothes, and bathe himself in Water,
and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
(6)
3 & 6 & 9
Leviticus 17: 6
And the priest shall sprinkle the Blood upon the Altar of the LORD
at the door of the Tabernacle
of the Congregation,
and burn the Fat
for a Sweet
savour unto the LORD.
(6)
7 And they shall no more Offer
their Sacrifices
unto Devils, after whom they have gone a Whoring. This shall be a Statute For Ever unto them throughout their Generations.
8 And thou shalt say unto them, Whatsoever
man there be of the House of Israel, or of the Strangers which sojourn among you, that
offereth a burnt Offering or Sacrifice,
1 & 3 & 8
Hebrews 8: 12
For I will be Merciful
to their Unrighteousness,
and their Sins
and their Iniquities
will I Remember
no more. (3)
Leviticus 17: 12 Therefore I said unto the
children of Israel,
No soul of you shall eat Blood,
neither shall any Stranger that sojourneth among you eat Blood.
(3)
13 And whatsoever man there be of
the children of Israel, or of the Strangers that sojourn among you, which
hunteth and catcheth any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour
out the Blood
thereof, and cover it with Dust.
14
For it is the Life of all Flesh; the Blood
of it is for the Life thereof:
therefore I said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall eat the Blood
of no Manner of Flesh: for the Life of
all Flesh is the Blood thereof: whosoever eateth it shall be cut off.
2 & 5 & 8
Hebrews 8: 1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an High Priest(Jesus), who is set on the Right Hand of the Throne of
the Majesty in the Heavens;
2 A Minister of the Sanctuary, and of the True Tabernacle, which the LORD pitched, and Not man.
3 For every High Priest
is ordained to Offer
gifts and Sacrifices:
wherefore it is of
necessity that this Man have somewhat also to Offer(Himself). (3)
4 For if He were on Earth, He should not be a Priest, seeing that there
are priests that offer gifts according to the Law:
5 Who serve unto the Example
and Shadow
of Heavenly
things, as Moses
was admonished of GOD when he was about to make the Tabernacle: for, See, saith He, that thou make all
things according to the Pattern Shewed to thee in the Mount.
2 Speak unto Aaron,
and unto his sons,
and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the
thing which the LORD hath Commanded, saying,
3
What man soever there be of the house of Israel,
that killeth an Ox, or Lamb,
or Goat,
in the Camp,
or that killeth it out of the camp, (3)
4 And bringeth it not unto the
door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, to Offer an Offering unto the LORD before the Tabernacle of the LORD; Blood shall be imputed unto that man; he hath shed Blood; and that man shall
be cut off from among his people:
5 To The End that the children of Israel may bring their Sacrifices, which they Offer in the open field, even that they
may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the Tabernacle of the Congregation, unto the Priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
