Acts. 2: 258; 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in
the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with
gladness and singleness of heart,
44 And
all that believed were together, and had all things common;
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted
them to all men, as every man had need.
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that GOD hath
made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both LORD and Christ.
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto
Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men
and brethren, what shall we do?
26 Therefore
did My Heart(Jesus) rejoice, and My tongue was glad; moreover also My flesh shall rest
in hope:
27 Because Thou wilt not leave My soul in hell, neither wilt Thou
suffer thine Holy One to see
corruption.
28 Thou hast made known to Me the ways of life; thou
shalt make Me full of joy with Thy countenance.
17 And
it shall come to pass in the last days, saith GOD, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and
your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see
visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
19 And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath;
blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke:
8 And
how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born?
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in
Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes,
41 Then
they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine
and fellowship, and
in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and
signs were done by the apostles.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of GOD exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but He saith Himself, The LORD said unto my LORD, Sit Thou on My
Right Hand,
23 Him,
being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge
of GOD, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom GOD hath
raised up, having loosed the pains of death:
because it was not possible that he should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the LORD always before My face, for He is on My right hand, that I should not be moved:
14 But
Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that
dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
6 Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came
together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his
own language.
7 And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one
to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
47 Praising
GOD, and having favour with all the people. And the LORD added to the church daily
such as should be saved.
38 Then
Peter said unto them, Repent, and
be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins,
and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children,
and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call.
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save
yourselves from this untoward generation.
29 Men
and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that GOD had
sworn with an Oath to him, that of the fruit of His loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up
Christ to sit on His throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the Resurrection of Christ, that His Soul was not left
in hell, neither His Flesh did see
corruption.
20 The
sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great
and notable day of the LORD come:
21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name
of the LORD(Jesus) shall be saved.
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among
you by miracles and
wonders and signs, which GOD did by Him in the Midst of you,
as ye yourselves also know:
12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying
one to another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new
wine.
2 And
suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing Mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they
were sitting.
3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of Fire, and it sat upon each of them.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Joel 2: 258; 31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the
moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
26 And
ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your GOD, that hath dealt wondrously
with you: and My people shall never be ashamed.
27 And ye shall know that I am in the Midst of Israel, and
that I am the LORD your GOD, and none else: and My people shall never be ashamed.
28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will
pour out My Spirit upon all flesh;
and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream
dreams, your young men shall see visions:
17 Let
the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare Thy people, O LORD, and give not Thine heritage
to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say
among the people, Where is their GOD?
18 Then will the LORD be jealous for His land, and pity His people.
19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto His people, Behold, I will send you
corn, and wine, and oil, and ye shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach
among the heathen:
8 Neither
shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they
fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9 They shall run to and fro in the city;
they shall run upon the wall, they
shall climb up upon the houses; they
shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
10 The earth shall quake before
them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be
dark, and the stars shall withdraw
their shining:
32 And
it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in
mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
23
Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your GOD: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you
the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats
shall overflow with wine and oil.
25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath eaten, the cankerworm, and
the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my
great army which I sent among you.
14 Who
knoweth if He will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a meat offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your GOD?
16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation,
assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let
the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in
battle array.
6 Before their face the people shall be much pained:
all faces shall gather blackness.
7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the
wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they
shall not break their ranks:
20 But
I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a
land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come
up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he hath done great things.
21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
22 Be not afraid, ye beasts of the field: for the pastures
of the wilderness do spring, for the tree beareth her fruit, the fig tree and
the vine do yield their strength.
11 And
the LORD shall utter His voice
before His army: for His camp is very great: for He is strong that executeth His
word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12 Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to Me with all your
heart, and with fasting, and with
weeping, and with mourning:
13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and
turn unto the LORD your GOD: for He is gracious and
merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil.
1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in My Holy Mountain: let
all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand;
2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a
great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be
any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
3 A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land
is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness;
yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4 The appearance of them is as the
appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
Rev. 7: 147; 17 For the Lamb which is in the Midst of the Throne shall feed them, and shall
lead them unto living fountains of waters: and GOD shall wipe away all tears
from their eyes.
16 They
shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on
them, nor any heat.
7 Of
the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of
the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude,
which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and
tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb,
clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
13 And
one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in
white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, Thou knowest. And He said
to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed
their robes, and made them white in the Blood of the
Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of GOD, and serve Hm day and night in His temple: and He that sitteth on the
throne shall dwell among them.
4 And
I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an
hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the
children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nepthalim were
sealed twelve
thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
10 And
cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne,
and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on
their faces, and worshipped GOD,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and
thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our GOD For
Ever and Ever. Amen.
1 And after
these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the
earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east,
having the seal of the living GOD: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given
to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the
trees, till we have sealed the servants of our GOD in
their foreheads.
Rev. 10: 147; 11 And he said unto me,
Thou must prophesy again before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and
kings.
7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of GOD should be finished, as He hath declared to His
servants the prophets.
8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go and
take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon
the sea and upon the earth.
9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give
me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it
shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey. (Thuesday Otcober 22,1844 by William Miller, E.G.White)
4 And
when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice
from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
6 And sware by him that liveth For Ever and Ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and
the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which
are therein, that there should be time no longer:
10 And
I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my
mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
1 And
I saw another Mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon His head, and His face was as it
were the sun, and His Feet as Pillars of Fire:
2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he
set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion
roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders
uttered their voices.
Rev. 14: 147; 20 And the winepress was trodden
without the city, and blood came out of the winepress, even unto the horse bridles, by the space of a thousand and six hundred furlongs.
16 And
He that sat on the cloud thrust in His sickle on the earth; and the earth was
reaped.
18 And another angel came out from the altar, which had power over fire; and cried
with a loud cry to Him that had the sharp sickle, saying, Thrust in Thy sharp
sickle, and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth; for her grapes are
fully ripe.
7 Saying
with a loud voice, Fear GOD, and give glory to Him; for the hour of His judgment
is come: and worship Him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that
great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
9 And the third angel followed them, saying with
a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his
mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
13 And
I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the LORD from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they
may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them.
14 And I looked, and behold a white cloud, and upon the cloud one
sat like unto the Son of Man, having on His head a golden crown, and in His hand a
sharp sickle.
15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with
a loud voice to Him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in Thy sickle, and reap: for
the time is come for Thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.
4 These
are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are
they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being
the firstfruits unto GOD and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are
without fault before the throne of GOD.
6 And I saw another angel fly in the Midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to
preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and
tongue, and people,
19 And
the angel thrust in his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vine of the
earth, and cast it into the great winepress of the wrath of GOD.
10 The
same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of GOD, which is poured out without
mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire
and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:
11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up For Ever and Ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and
whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are
they that keep the Commandments of GOD, and the faith of Jesus.
1 And
I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with Him an hundred forty and four thousand, having His Father's name written in their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as
the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with
their harps:
3 And they sung as it were a new song before the
throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man
could learn that song but the hundred and forty and
four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.
Rev. 18: 138; 24 And
in her was found the blood of prophets, and of saints, and of all that were
slain upon the earth.
17
For in one hour so great riches is come to nought. And every shipmaster, and all the
company in ships, and sailors, and as many as trade by sea, stood afar off,
18 And cried when they saw the smoke of her burning,
saying, What city is like unto this great city!
8 Therefore
shall her plagues come in one day, death, and mourning, and famine; and she shall be utterly burned with fire: for strong is the LORD GOD who judgeth her.
9 And the kings of the earth, who have committed fornication and
lived deliciously with her, shall bewail her, and lament for her, when they
shall see the smoke of her burning,
21 And
a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into
the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall
be found no more at all.
22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, shall
be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more
at all in thee;
23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee:
for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were
all nations deceived.
12 The
merchandise of gold, and silver, and precious stones, and of pearls, and fine linen, and purple, and silk, and scarlet, and all thyine wood, and all manner
vessels of ivory, and all manner vessels of most precious wood, and of brass, and iron, and marble,
13 And cinnamon, and odours, and ointments, and frankincense, and
wine, and oil, and fine flour, and wheat, and beasts, and sheep, and
horses, and chariots, and slaves, and souls of men.
14 And the fruits that thy soul lusted after are departed from thee, and all things which were dainty and goodly are
departed from thee, and thou shalt find them no more at all.
15 The merchants of these things, which were made rich
by her, shall stand afar off for the fear of her torment, weeping and wailing,
16 And saying, Alas, alas, that great city, that was
clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and
precious stones, and pearls!
3 For
all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies.
4 And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come out of her, my people, that
ye be not partakers of her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues.
6 Reward her even as she rewarded you, and double unto
her double according to her works: in the cup which she hath filled fill to her
double.
7 How much she hath glorified herself, and lived
deliciously, so much torment and sorrow give her: for she saith in her heart, I
sit a queen, and am no widow, and shall see no sorrow.
19 And
they cast dust on their heads, and cried, weeping and wailing, saying, Alas,
alas, that great city, wherein were made rich all that had ships in the sea by
reason of her costliness! for in one hour is she made desolate.
20 Rejoice over her, thou heaven, and ye holy apostles and
prophets; for GOD hath avenged you on her.
10 Standing
afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
11 And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over
her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:
1 And
after these things I saw another Angel come down from heaven, having Great Power; and the earth was Lightened with His Glory.
2 And He Cried
Mightily with a strong voice,
saying, Babylon
the great is fallen, is fallen, and is
become the habitation of
devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird.
