(Thursday May 4, 2017)
Achts 2: 47 Praising GOD, and having favour with all the people. And the LORD added to the church daily such as should be saved. (2)
Psalm 74: 23 Forget not the voice of Thine enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against Thee increaseth continually. (5)
2 & 5 & 8
Achts 2: 44 And all that believed were together, and had all things common; (8)
45 And sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all men, as every man had need.
Psalm 74: 17 Thou hast set all the borders of the earth: Thou hast made summer and winter. (8)
18 Remember this, that the enemy hath reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed Thy Name.
3 & 6 & 9
Achts 2: 35 Until I make Thy foes Thy footstool. (8)
36 Therefore let all the house of Israel know assuredly, that GOD hath made that same Jesus, whom ye have crucified, both LORD and Christ.
Psalm 74: 8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the Synagogues of GOD in the land. (8)
9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knoweth how long.
3 & 6 & 9
Achts 2: 26 Therefore did My heart rejoice, and My tongue was glad; moreover also My flesh shall rest in hope: (8)
27 Because Thou wilt not leave My soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer Thine Holy One to see corruption.
Achts 2: 17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith GOD, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: (8)
18 And on My servants and on My handmaidens I will pour out in those days of My Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Achts 2: 8 And how hear we every man in our own tongue, wherein we were born? (8)
9 Parthians, and Medes, and Elamites, and the dwellers in Mesopotamia, and in Judaea, and Cappadocia, in Pontus, and Asia,
3 & 6 & 9
Achts 2: 39 For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our GOD shall call. (3)
40 And with many other words did he testify and exhort, saying, Save yourselves from this untoward generation.
41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.
42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.
43 And fear came upon every soul: and many wonders and signs were done by the apostles.
Psalm 74: 21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise Thy name. (3)
22 Arise, O GOD, plead Thine own cause: remember how the foolish man reproacheth Thee daily.
1 & 4 & 7
Achts 2: 30 Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that GOD had sworn with an oath to Him, that of the fruit of His loins, according to the flesh, He would raise up Christ to sit on His Throne;
31 He seeing this before spake of the Resurrection of Christ, that His soul was not left in hell, neither His flesh did see corruption.
32 This Jesus hath GOD raised up, whereof we all are witnesses.
33 Therefore being by the right hand of GOD exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, He hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear.
34 For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my LORD, Sit Thou on My right hand,
Psalm 74: 12 For GOD is my King of old, working salvation in the Midst of the earth. (3)
13 Thou didst divide the sea by thy strength: Thou brakest the heads of the dragons in the waters.
14 Thou brakest the heads of leviathan in pieces, and gavest him to be meat to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
15 Thou didst cleave the fountain and the flood: Thou driedst up mighty rivers.
16 The day is Thine, the night also is Thine: Thou hast prepared the light and the sun.
1 & 4 & 7
Achts 2: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be saved. (3)
22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of GOD among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which GOD did by Him in the Midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
23 Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of GOD, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:
24 Whom GOD hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it.
25 For David speaketh concerning Him, I foresaw the LORD always before My face, for He is on My right hand, that I should not be moved:
Psalm 74: 3 Lift up Thy feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy hath done wickedly in the sanctuary. (3)
4 Thine enemies roar in the midst of thy congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
7 They have cast fire into Thy sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of Thy name to the ground.
1 & 4 & 7
Achts 2: 12 And they were all amazed, and were in doubt, saying one to another, What meaneth this?
13 Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine.
14 But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words:
15 For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day.
16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Achts 2: 3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them. (3)
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
5 And there were dwelling at Jerusalem Jews, devout men, out of every nation under heaven.
6Now when this was noised abroad, the multitude came together, and were confounded, because that every man heard them speak in his own language.
7And they were all amazed and marvelled, saying one to another, Behold, are not all these which speak Galilaeans?
1 & 4 & 7
Achts 2: 46 And they, continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, did eat their meat with gladness and singleness of heart, (1)
Psalm 74: 19 O deliver not the soul of Thy turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of Thy poor for ever. (1)
20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
2 & 5 & 8
Achts 2: 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? (1)
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Psalm 74: 10 O GOD, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme Thy name for ever? (1)
11 Why withdrawest thou thy hand, even thy right hand? pluck it out of thy bosom.
2 & 5 & 8
Achts 2: 28 Thou hast made known to me the ways of life; Thou shalt make me full of joy with Thy countenance. (1)
29 Men and brethren, let me freely speak unto you of the patriarch David, that he is both dead and buried, and his sepulchre is with us unto this day.
Achts 2: 19 And I will shew wonders in Heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke: (1)
20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the LORD come:
Achts 2: 10 Phrygia, and Pamphylia, in Egypt, and in the parts of Libya about Cyrene, and strangers of Rome, Jews and proselytes, (1)
11 Cretes and Arabians, we do hear them speak in our tongues the wonderful works of GOD.
2 & 5 & 8
Achts 2: 1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. (1)
2 And suddenly there came a sound from Heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Psalm 74: 1 O GOD, why hast Thou cast us off for ever? why doth Thine anger smoke against the sheep of Thy pasture? (1)
2 Remember Thy congregation, which Thou hast purchased of old; the rod of Thine inheritance, which Thou hast redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein Thou hast dwelt.

Jeremiah 30: 22 And ye shall be My people, and I will be your GOD. (4)
1 & 4 & 7
Romans 12: 18 If it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men. (9)
19 Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is Mine; I will repay, saith the LORD.
Jeremiah 30: 18 Thus saith the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwellingplaces; and the city shall be builded upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof. (9)
19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
20 Their children also shall be as aforetime, and their congregation shall be established before Me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
2 & 5 & 8
Romans 12: 9 Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. (9)
10 Be kindly affectioned one to another with brotherly love; in honour preferring one another;
11 Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord;
Jeremiah 30: 9 But they shall serve the LORD their GOD, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them. (9)
10 Therefore fear thou not, O My servant Jacob, saith the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save thee from afar, and thy seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
11 For I am with thee, saith the LORD, to save thee: though I make a full end of all nations whither I have scattered thee, yet I will not make a full end of thee: but I will correct thee in measure, and will not leave thee altogether unpunished.
2 & 5 & 8
Romans 12: 15 Rejoice with them that do rejoice, and weep with them that weep. (6)
16 Be of the same mind one toward another. Mind not high things, but condescend to men of low estate. Be not wise in your own conceits.
17 Recompense to no man evil for evil. Provide things honest in the sight of all men.
Jeremiah 30: 24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he hath done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days ye shall consider it. (6)
3 & 6 & 9
Romans 12: 6 Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us, whether prophecy, let us prophesy according to the proportion of faith; (6)
7 Or ministry, let us wait on our ministering: or he that teacheth, on teaching;
8 Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness.
Jeremiah 30: 15 Why criest thou for thine affliction? thy sorrow is incurable for the multitude of thine iniquity: because thy sins were increased, I have done these things unto thee. (6)
16 Therefore all they that devour thee shall be devoured; and all thine adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil thee shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon thee will I give for a prey.
17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD; because they called thee an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
Jeremiah 30: 6 Ask ye now, and see whether a man doth travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness? (6)
7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
8 For it shall come to pass in that day, saith the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off thy neck, and will burst thy bonds, and strangers shall no more serve themselves of him:
1 & 3 & 8
Romans 12: 21 Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good. (3)

1 & 3 & 8

13 Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
14 Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.
Jeremiah 30: 12 For thus saith the LORD, Thy bruise is incurable, and thy wound is grievous. (3)
13 There is none to plead thy cause, that thou mayest be bound up: thou hast no healing medicines.
14 All thy lovers have forgotten thee; they seek thee not; for I have wounded thee with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of thine iniquity; because thy sins were increased.
2 & 5 & 8
Romans 12: 1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of GOD, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto GOD, which is your reasonable service.
2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of GOD.
3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as GOD hath dealt to every man the measure of faith. (3)
4 For as we have many members in one body, and all members have not the same office:
5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.
Jeremiah 30: 1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
2 Thus speaketh the LORD GOD of Israel, saying, Write thee all the Words that I have spoken unto thee in a book.
3 For, lo, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of My people Israel and Judah, saith the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it. (3)
4 And these are the Words that the LORD spake concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
5 For thus saith the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.

2 & 5 & 8
