(Sunday June 25, 2017)
1 Peter 5: 3 & 6 & 9; 14 Greet ye one another with a kiss of charity. Peace be with you all that are in CHRIST JESUS. Amen. (5)
2 Kings 6: 32 But Elisha sat in his house, and the elders sat with him; and the king sent a man from before him: but ere the messenger came to him, he said to the elders, See ye how this son of a murderer hath sent to take away mine head? look, when the messenger cometh, shut the door, and hold him fast at the door: is not the sound of his master's feet behind him? (5)
2 & 5 & 8
1 Peter 5: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. (9)
10 But the GOD of all grace, who hath called us unto His Eternal glory by CHRIST JESUS, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
11 To Him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
2 Kings 6: 27 And he said, If the LORD do not help thee, whence shall I help thee? out of the barnfloor, or out of the winepress? (9)
28 And the king said unto her, What aileth thee? And she answered, This woman said unto me, Give thy son, that we may eat him to day, and we will eat my son to morrow.
29 So we boiled my son, and did eat him: and I said unto her on the next day, Give thy son, that we may eat him: and she hath hid her son.
2 & 5 & 8
2 Kings 6: 18 And when they came down to him, Elisha prayed unto the LORD, and said, Smite this people, I pray Thee, with blindness. And He smote them with blindness according to the word of Elisha. (9)
19 And Elisha said unto them, This is not the way, neither is this the city: follow me, and I will bring you to the man whom ye seek. But he led them to Samaria.
20 And it came to pass, when they were come into Samaria, that Elisha said, LORD, open the eyes of these men, that they may see. And the LORD opened their eyes, and they saw; and, behold, they were in the Midst of Samaria.
2 Kings 6: 9 And the man of GOD sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are come down. (9)
10 And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of GOD told him and warned him of, and saved himself there, not once nor twice.
11 Therefore the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the King of Israel?
2 & 5 & 8
1 Peter 5: 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the Mighty Hand of GOD, that He may exalt you in due time: (6)
7 Casting all your care upon Him; for He careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your Adversary the Devil, as a roaring Lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may Devour:
2 Kings 6: 33 And while he yet talked with them, behold, the messenger came down unto him: and he said, Behold, this evil is of the LORD; what should I wait for the LORD any longer? (6)
3 & 6 & 9
2 Kings 6: 24 And it came to pass after this, that Benhadad king of Syria gathered all his host, and went up, and besieged Samaria. (6)
25 And there was a great famine in Samaria: and, behold, they besieged it, until an ass's head was sold for fourscore pieces of silver, and the fourth part of a cab of dove's dung for five pieces of silver.
26 And as the king of Israel was passing by upon the wall, there cried a woman unto him, saying, Help, my Lord, O King.
1 & 3 & 8
2 Kings 6: 15 And when the servant of the man of God was risen early, and gone forth, behold, an host compassed the city both with horses and chariots. And his servant said unto him, Alas, my master! how shall we do? (6)
16 And he answered, Fear not: for they that be with us are more than they that be with them.
17 And Elisha prayed, and said, LORD, I pray thee, open his eyes, that he may see. And the LORD opened the eyes of the young man; and he saw: and, behold, the Mountain was full of Horses and Chariots of Fire round about Elisha.
2 Kings 6: 6 And the man of GOD said, Where fell it? And he shewed him the place. And he cut down a stick, and cast it in thither; and the iron did swim. (6)
7 Therefore said he, Take it up to thee. And he put out his hand, and took it.
8 Then the king of Syria warred against Israel, and took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp.
1 & 3 & 8
1 Peter 5: 12 By Silvanus, a faithful brother unto you, as I suppose, I have written briefly, exhorting, and testifying that this is the true grace of GOD wherein ye stand. (3)
13 The church that is at Babylon, elected together with you, saluteth you; and so doth Marcus my son.
2 Kings 6: 30 And it came to pass, when the king heard the words of the woman, that he rent his clothes; and he passed by upon the wall, and the people looked, and, behold, he had sackcloth within upon his flesh. (3)
31 Then he said, GOD do so and more also to me, if the head of Elisha the son of Shaphat shall stand on him this day.
1 & 4 & 7
2 Kings 6: 21 And the king of Israel said unto Elisha, when he saw them, My father, shall I smite them? shall I smite them? (3)
22 And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: wouldest thou smite those whom thou hast taken captive with thy sword and with thy bow? set bread and water before them, that they may eat and drink, and go to their master.
23 And he prepared great provision for them: and when they had eaten and drunk, he sent them away, and they went to their master. So the bands of Syria came no more into the land of Israel.
2 Kings 6: 12 And one of his servants said, None, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber. (3)
13 And he said, Go and spy where he is, that I may send and fetch him. And it was told him, saying, Behold, he is in Dothan.
14 Therefore sent he thither horses, and chariots, and a great host: and they came by night, and compassed the city about.
2 & 5 & 8
1 Peter 5: 1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:
2 Feed the flock of GOD which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy Lucre, but of a ready mind;
3 Neither as being lords over GOD's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock. (3)
4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for GOD resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.

2 Kings 6: 1 And the sons of the prophets said unto Elisha, Behold now, the place where we dwell with thee is too strait for us.
2 Let us go, we pray thee, unto Jordan, and take thence every man a beam, and let us make us a place there, where we may dwell. And he answered, Go ye.
3 And one said, Be content, I pray thee, and go with thy servants. And he answered, I will go. (3)
4 So he went with them. And when they came to Jordan, they cut down wood.
5 But as one was felling a beam, the axe head fell into the water: and he cried, and said, Alas, master! for it was Borrowed.

(Sunday June 17, 2017)
1 Timothy 1: 1 & 4 & 7 20 Of whom is Hymenaeus and Alexander; whom I have delivered unto Satan, that they may learn not to blaspheme.
Proverbs 7: 27 Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.
3 & 6 & 9
1 Timothy 1: 16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting. (7)
17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise GOD, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.
18 This charge I commit unto thee, son Timothy, according to the prophecies which went before on thee, that thou by them mightest war a good warfare;
Proverbs 7: 7 Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. (7)
8 But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;
9 Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners,
1 Timothy 1: 25 Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. (7)
26 For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
1 & 3 & 8
Proverbs 7: 16 I have decked my bed with coverings of tapestry, with carved works, with fine linen of Egypt. (7)
17 I have perfumed my bed with myrrh, aloes, and cinnamon.
18 Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
Proverbs 7: 7 And beheld among the simple ones, I discerned among the youths, a young man void of understanding, (7)
8 Passing through the street near her corner; and he went the way to her house,
9 In the twilight, in the evening, in the black and dark night:
3 & 6 & 9
1 Timothy 1: 13 Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. (4)
14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.
15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.
Proverbs 7: 22 He goeth after her straightway, as an ox goeth to the slaughter, or as a fool to the correction of the stocks; (4)
23 Till a dart strike through his liver; as a bird hasteth to the snare, and knoweth not that it is for his life.
24 Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
3 & 6 & 9
1 Timothy 1: 4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do. (4)
5 Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:
6 From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;
Proverbs 7: 13 So she caught him, and kissed him, and with an impudent face said unto him, (4)
14 I have peace offerings with me; this day have I payed my vows.
15 Therefore came I forth to meet thee, diligently to seek thy face, and I have found thee.
Proverbs 7: 4 Say unto wisdom, Thou art my sister; and call understanding thy kinswoman: (4)
5 That they may keep thee from the strange woman, from the stranger which flattereth with her words.
6 For at the window of my house I looked through my casement,
3 & 6 & 9
1 Timothy 1: 19 Holding faith, and a good conscience; which some having put away concerning faith have made shipwreck: (1)
Proverbs 7: 19 For the goodman is not at home, he is gone a long journey: (1)
20 He hath taken a bag of money with him, and will come home at the day appointed.
21 With her much fair speech she caused him to yield, with the flattering of her lips she forced him.
1 & 3 & 8
1 Timothy 1: 10 For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; (1)
11 According to the glorious gospel of the blessed GOD, which was committed to my trust.
12 And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that he counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry;
Proverbs 7: 10 And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart. (1)
11 (She is loud and stubborn; her feet abide not in her house:
12 Now is she without, now in the streets, and lieth in wait at every corner.)
1 & 3 & 8
1 Timothy 1: 1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of GOD our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope; (1)
2 Unto Timothy, my own son in the faith: Grace, mercy, and peace, from GOD our Father and Jesus Christ our Lord.
3 As I besought thee to abide still at Ephesus, when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some that they teach no other doctrine, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,
Proverbs 7: 1 My son, keep my words, and lay up My Commandments with thee. (1)
2 Keep My Commandments, and live; and My Law as the apple of thine eye.
3 Bind them upon thy fingers, write them upon the table of thine heart.
